Room Divider Panel in Chalk Couture Ink

Horse Room Divider Panel

I decided to Chalk Couture ink my room divider panel since I had to take them off the frame and wash them. At first, I was thinking I would use the floral script and cover all the panels. I was seeing green and gold. They are a natural canvas type finish so a perfect surface for ink. But once I got them down, I had a re-think and decided to ink the horse on just the last panel. I am so glad I did that! It looks awesome but not overwhelming and I do think inking all 4 panels completely would have been a regret. Part of my love for the room divider is that it moves from room to room easily. That would not have worked anymore with all green and gold. In fact, I don’t have any green or gold in my décor!

I did the Horse in Bark and then Black Velvet ink. He is very sedate and regal looking. Even though he is subtle on the panels, you can’t walk by without noticing him now.
