Purple ink on a purple T, would that work? Turns out it did. Perfectly.
Every time new transfers are released, I make a list of what I must have. It is surprisingly small. I then make a list of what I want and that list is much longer! But when I saw the Believe in Yourself transfer, it went directly onto the must have list.
I instantly saw it as a T-shirt. The Be You would be easily read from far away and Believe in Yourself would become clear closer. I thought it was genius.
I wanted it to be subtle which lead me to the purple on purple choice. I love how it turned out. As genius as I had imagined. I don’t think it would have worked as well on a solid colour T-shirt. But I still don’t think I would ink it white or black, I do think it is better more subtle. I am thinking of trying shades of blue.
If you haven’t tried ink, I encourage you to give it a try. You will find you are suddenly personalizing your jeans, making tons of t-shirts and filling your up your tea towel drawer. Or maybe pillows, pillow cases or even a banner for your mantel. It’s addicting.
