Live Life in Flip Flops was the first project I did when I got Couture ink. I was dying to try the ink and knew a beach towel was the perfect surface. I found a big beach towel with a carrying case set and had the idea of inking a pair of flip flops on the case as well. With the bright yellow towel, red seemed like the right colour choice as well.
This transfer was made for me. I absolutely Live Life in Flip Flops all summer long. Oddly, I never do that at a beach. Not a fan of the beach so I am not sure why I chose that surface. I thought the red would look great on the bright, lemon yellow and it did.
Ink is easier to use than paste. You do not have to worry as much about drying time because the ink does not lift with the transfer the way dry paste can. This makes it easier to work with fine detail and multiple colours.
